Disney Dreamlight Valley offers players a magical experience full of adventure, realm exploration, and beloved characters. Among the many engaging storylines available, the quest titled A Secret Mission In Uncharted Space serves as a key gateway to unlocking Buzz Lightyear. Completing this mission allows players to bring the famous Space Ranger into the Valley and establish a strong friendship with him.
How to Unlock the Toy Story Realm
To begin this journey, players must first gain access to the Toy Story Realm located inside the Dream Castle. Unlocking the door requires spending a set amount of Dreamlight, which can be earned by completing everyday tasks around the Valley. Once inside, you will shrink down to toy size and meet Buzz Lightyear in Bonnie's bedroom.
Talking to Buzz reveals that his communicator is malfunctioning and needs immediate repairs. He asks for your assistance in gathering specific materials scattered around the room to help him re-establish contact with Star Command.
Finding AA Batteries inside Bonnie's Room
Your first objective is to locate two AA batteries hidden in different corners of the bedroom. One battery is typically located near the closet doors, while the second can be found tucked behind a pile of books near the bed. Picking up both items and delivering them back to Buzz will successfully power up his communicator.
With the communicator active, Buzz learns that he must resize the race track in the room to help Woody. To complete this stage, you need to collect several race track pieces and magic growing cactus toys positioned around the floor and furniture.
Resizing the Race Track and Securing the Magic Cacti
Finding the magic cacti requires exploring behind near-ground obstacles, such as the bed and nightstand. Once collected, place the cacti under the bent sections of the track and use your Royal Watering Can to make them expand. This restores the race track so Buzz can launch the toy car and free Woody from his predicament.
After completing this action, Buzz agrees to move to Disney Dreamlight Valley once a suitable home is constructed for him. Returning to the Valley allows you to select a site for Buzz's RV and pay Scrooge McDuck to finish building it.
Welcoming Buzz Lightyear to Your Village
With the RV fully constructed, Buzz Lightyear will officially move into your village and join your community. Welcoming him unlocks new friendship rewards, daily conversation options, and unique cosmetic items for your avatar. Completing this secret space mission opens up a whole new set of adventures as you continue restoring peace and magic to the Valley.
